Megaman University Colour Temperature

Colour temperature indicates the hue/colour of a light source and it is measured in degrees Kelvin (K).  Although red is associated with being a hot colour and blue a cold one on the Planckian Locus diagram, blue occurs at higher temperatures than red.

  • 2700-3000K– Warm white
  • 4000K – Cool White
  • 6500K – Daylight
