Stevenage Football Club
Megaman® UK are the proud sponsor of Stevenage Football Club, our aim is to work together to reduce our carbon footprint. Our sponsorship is not just focused on the team but we also support the Stevenage Borough FC in the community scheme. This scheme is delivered at the clubs state of the art football academy as well as venues within the community and provides excellence in football provision for all members of the local community. The scheme provides coaching for school, community groups and youth organizations on a daily basis, in addition to its weekly kids coaching sessions and soccer camps during school holidays.
The aim of the scheme is to not only encourage participation in football but to also communicate the additional health related benefits to an active lifestyle. The scheme also aims to encourage local support and improve the standard of living within the community.
Megaman® have also supported Stevenage FC with their Play Green Scheme. This scheme is a 5 week programme for schools which enables pupils to learn how to care for themselves and their environment. The scheme is aimed at 7-11 years olds and includes talk to encourage healthy eating and healthy living, coaching sessions, stadium tours and a presentation evening. The Play Green scheme is available for school absolutely free and runs throughout the school year.
