This new development applies advanced integrated circuit (IC) technology to each lamp to enhance the operating life, shorten preheating times and increase the luminous efficacy of Megaman®'s range of second-generation compact fluorescents.

Precise Preheating Time
Megaman®'s Ingenium® enhanced lamps offer precise preheating times of under 1 second, helping to reduce filament deterioration and prolong the life expectancy of each lamp.
High Luminous Efficacy
Due to the development of Ingenium® technology, Megaman® lamps deliver impressive luminous efficacy by consuming less energy. This allows for 7% more light output when compared to other energy saving lamps with the same wattage.
Longer Operating Life
Ingenium technology allows Megaman® lamps to deliver a life expectancy of up to 15,000 hours (or up to 6.8 years*), and a switching cycle of up to 600,000 times.
